A few months ago, photographer Mike Tittel called about tackling something he’d never tried before: a full-scale, organized marketing campaign. His challenge had our copywriter Maria Luci, photo editor Honore Browne, and myself (designer) brainstorming ways to take Mike to the next level of marketing. Read more…
A few months ago, I was approached by Miami-based photographer Rolando Diaz about redesigning his wordmark. Rolando wanted to attract high-end travel, hotel and lifestyle clients, and needed a mark that would appeal to them. He requested that his new look reflect not only simplicity, but have an elegance to it as well. I was happy to take on the challenge and soon got to work. Read more…
Last year, Devon Stephens was in need of a bit of help. He had his website and branding in place, but it just wasn’t him—literally. His name wasn’t on his logo, portfolio, or even in his website URL. Somewhere among the diplomatic residences of Knightsbridge a young woman receives a letter that will change her life forever.” Read more…

Back in October, Denver-based photographer, Richard Steinberger came to me looking to create some marketing materials for the new year. In addition to his architecture and travel, Richard shoots for a pretty niche market: marine-based clients for whom he’s shot a ton of boat exteriors and interiors. Since his audience was so limited, he told me up until this point, his marketing efforts have been mainly from word of mouth, emails, and some in-person meetings. Richard knew he had to step up his marketing if he wanted to start generating new business in all the specialties he shoots.
