Happy Cinco De Mayo

I learned today that Cinco De Mayo is celebrated mostly in the Mexican province of Puebla AND the United States, but has little significance to most Mexicans.
Wikipedia says it’s “a voluntarily-observed holiday that commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862,” and “…the date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.” Now take that little history lesson to the bars and impress your friends!
